Meet Francesca & The Three Seeds Farm
Hey y'all! I'm Francesca, the farm dreamer, beginning homesteader and voice behind the Three Seeds Blog. Together with my husband and three kids, we built this dream home from the ground up in 2017. We've got big plans here for our ten acre property that I am excited to share with you.
It all started back in 2014 when I became a natural advocate of sorts. I was disappointed and appalled by Food Inc. and the things I learned propelled me to take action. I knew I had to be apart of the change and I had to teach my children a better way. We are stewards of the land, the animals, and everything else in the natural environment.
I was inspired to start this farm as a way to get back to the basics, do things the way our ancestors did and spread awareness of our global impact. This has been a journey for our family. One that we are still taking and still have so much to learn from. I welcome all of you to take this journey with us. Share your knowledge and experiences.
Here at Three Seeds Farm, we pledge to use regenerative agriculture practices, give back more than we take from our soil, remove toxic chemicals from our food supply and our environment, and share these gifts of abundance.

More about the Three Seeds Property...In the beginning, Farm Husband and I purchased a ten acre piece of land in Northern Colorado. We knew our mission would be to convert this property into our dream homestead, focusing on self sufficiency. The property had been used for many years to grow wheat, often GMO, and always sprayed and tilled multiple times a year.
Currently we have dirt that is devoid of organic material. Conventional farming techniques disrupt the natural life cycle of microorganisms that make up rich and healthy soil. This is a common practice across the country. By no fault of the farmer, we have caused many of the issues that make it difficult to farm in the first place. Our goal is to reestablish organic rich soils and work with nature, instead of against it. We have a long road ahead of us but look forward to the transformation. |
